OUR STORY
Happy Sunshine Academy began with the calling of a missionary family—a pastor, his wife, and their five children—who felt a deep desire to serve families and walk with them in the God-given responsibility of raising and discipling their children.
Our founder started as a teacher who loved education but sensed something was missing. While homeschooling her first child, she realized many families needed guidance, structure, and support. What began as helping a few parents quickly grew into a mission.
She started teaching online, designing personalized bilingual curriculums, and creating learning experiences grounded in her specialized training in curriculum writing, bilingual education, and neuroeducation.
From this passion, she developed HSA’s own curriculum, designed to:

promote joyful, meaningful learning, and

intentionally build character and faith.
Soon, families started gathering in our basement classroom, where face-to-face teaching, prayer, and community became the heart of our work. As more parents shared their needs — both in the U.S. and internationally — God opened the doors for HSA to grow into a fully online bilingual Christian academy.
