Welcome to our Middle School program! In our program we guide your child through their middle school years and prepare them for high school. We focus on building a strong foundation each year so that they will become successful long-life learners. Our teachers provide personalized support, evaluations and tutoring if needed. Our focus in this grade level is to build a strong foundation each year so that they can graduate with confidence.

SOME OF OUR MIDDLE SCHOOL LEARNING GOALS:

1. Develop Financial Literacy: Equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand concepts such as budgeting, saving, investing, and responsible financial decision-making. We learn by creating the concepts and then starting a business. Students learn about taxes, investment, house loans, bank accounts, etc. 

2. Enhance Problem-Solving Skills: Foster critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through engaging activities and real-world scenarios, empowering students to tackle challenges with confidence and creativity.

3. Cultivate Theological Understanding: Provide opportunities for students to explore and deepen their understanding of the fundamentals of theology such as values, history, memorization of key passages, understanding the gospel and purpose of preaching to others, expository preaching, public speaking, analyzing a Bible verse and more. 

4. Foster Scientific Inquiry: Spark curiosity and encourage hands-on exploration in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science, laying the foundation for future scientific inquiry and discovery.

5. Strengthen Language Arts Proficiency: Develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, nurturing a love for literature, effective communication, and self-expression.

6. Instill a Love for Learning: Cultivate a positive attitude towards learning by creating a stimulating and supportive environment where students feel motivated and empowered to pursue knowledge and personal growth.

7. Promote Digital Literacy: Teach students how to effectively and responsibly navigate digital technologies, including internet research, online safety, digital citizenship, and proficiency in using various software and applications.

8. Foster Cultural Awareness: Promote an understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity, global perspectives, and intercultural communication skills to prepare students for living and working in a diverse world.

9. Support Social and Emotional Learning (SEL): Integrate SEL into the curriculum to support students in developing self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.

10. Encourage Health and Wellness: Provide education on topics such as physical health, nutrition, exercise, mental health, stress management, and healthy lifestyle choices to promote overall well-being and resilience.

11. Nurture Creative Expression: Encourage artistic exploration and creative expression through visual arts, performing arts, music, and other creative outlets, fostering imagination, innovation, and self-expression.

12. Promote Citizenship and Civic Engagement: Engage students in discussions and activities that promote civic responsibility, community involvement, understanding of government structures, and active participation in democratic processes.
